L & R Joinery are Derby-based joiners and carpenters covering Leicester, Leicestershire, about 24 miles from our base.
Leicester is one of the East Midlands' largest cities, and its diverse housing stock, from the Victorian terraces of Clarendon Park and Stoneygate to the modern apartments around the Waterside regeneration area, provides plenty of scope for quality joinery work. We regularly fit kitchens in family homes across Oadby, Wigston, and Birstall, install bespoke wardrobes in period properties near Victoria Park, and carry out first and second fix carpentry on new developments throughout the city. Our experience in Loughborough and Castle Donington means we already know these roads well, and Leicester is a natural extension of our Leicestershire coverage.

Homes & Joinery in Leicester
Leicester's Victorian suburbs are some of the best-preserved in the Midlands. Clarendon Park, Stoneygate and Knighton are full of bay-fronted terraces and villas, while Oadby, Wigston and Birstall add interwar and modern family homes, and the Waterside area has new apartments.
Owners of these period homes usually want to keep panelled doors, architrave and staircases while adding modern kitchens and fitted storage. We've fitted new doors, skirting and architrave for Leicester customers, and several of our reviews come from the city.

The workmanship was excellent with great attention to detail, and everything was left neat and tidy. They were reliable, friendly, and worked efficiently throughout. Took pride in their work and went above and beyond. Very happy with the finished result and would happily recommend them. I will definitely be hiring them for future projects."
